Call me old fashioned, but I would personally buy the game again if they were to sell a hard copy with a printed manual.
I know that might just be wishful thinking, considering how prevalent and popular digital distribution is, but I just thought I would mention it.

Im with you. I will mention it. Maybe I can convince them to offer it personally that way (altho that means it would come from Sweden). Or maybe I can find a PoD site they can use.
And maybe talk to Edi about personally offering the Manuals off of a PoD site. Especially if he offered them all separately. Game Manual, Map Manual, Mod Manual. AND the upcoming database.

Illwinter has the documentation for download on their pages for all and sundry. For my part, I am not going to give my permission to any distribution. While I wrote the documentation and in that sense it is mine, as it were, it was done for Illwinter and as such, any permission for any kind of third party distribution must come from them.
Now that the documentation is available on their page, there is nothing to stop anyone from actually having it printed out into a hardcopy format of their choice (ringbinder, bound version etc) as they please, but I would wait several patches before I did that, since I will update each and every one of the manuals for each and every patch.
As far as the CoE3 DB, when it is time to unveil that, it will be available strictly in the same way the Dom3 DB is, meaning that I will host it and will not look kindly upon somebody else putting it up elsewhere, though anybody who does get it will be able to use it as they see fit otherwise.
Quite a bit of the stuff in the DB will eventually be in the modding manual when the relevant modding commands are added.

Right. Thats why I said Illwinter or Edi.
I do hope Illwinter has access to an editable copy as a backup.

Yes they do. The original and the tables both.

Thanks again. As always. You are definitely the hardest working non-Illwinter member of the Illwinter team.
