First, download the map or scenario and get a file with a .coem extension on it. Then do the following: 1.To place the map/scenario file in the proper place for your operating system: - In Windows 7:
1. Turn on Show Hidden Files and Folders (if you aren't sure how to do this, click here. 2. Navigate to C:/users/[your user name]/AppData/Roaming/coe3/maps 3. Place the .coem file in the maps folder.
- In Linux:
1. Open a command line terminal. 2. cd to /home/[your user name]/.coe3/maps/ 3. cp the .coem file into the maps folder.
- In Mac OS X:
1. Go to your Applications folder or wherever you put coe3.app and right click on the Conquest of Elysium 3 icon. 2. Select show package contents. 3. Go to Contents/Resources/maps. So if you had the game in your applications folder, the path would be "/Applications/coe3.app/Contents/Resources/maps" 4. Copy the map file to your maps folder (if it's there, I need to test this)
2. Once you have installed the map in the proper folder/directory, do the following: 1. Start Conquest of Elysium 3. 2. Click Start New Game. 3. Click Load Map. 4. Click the name of the map or Scenario you want to load and you're off!
