To save a gamelog with Desura:
1. Sign into the Desura client.
2. Select Play.
3. Right-click Conquest of Elysium 3.
4. Select Properties.
5. In the User Launch Options text box, type/append "--gamelog=gamelog.txt" without the quotation marks.
To view a gamelog with Desura:
1. Go to your Desura CoE3 folder (mine is in C:/Program Files (x86)/Desura/Common/Conquest of Elysium 3/)
2. Double-click the gamelog text file to view it.
To save a gamelog in Windows 7* (with standalone, not desura):
1. Go to the shortcut you use to run CoE3.
2. Right-click the shortcut and, from the drop-down list, select Properties.
3. In the Target text box, you might see "C:\Program Files (x86)\coe3\coe3.exe" Put the cursor at the end, press the space bar, and type "--gamelog=gamelog.txt" without the quotation marks.
4. Click the Apply button.
5. If prompted, click the Continue button.
6. Select the Compatibility button.
7. Place a check in the Run this program as an administrator text box.
8. Click OK.
To view the gamelog in Windows 7:
1. Go to your CoE3 folder (mine is in C:/Program Files (x86)/coe3)
2. Double-click the gamelog text file to view it.
Not sure if it's a security issue, but I could not get the game to save gamelogs unless I ran the program as an administrator. Otherwise, it just keeps crashing.
To save a gamelog in linux:
1. For the command you use to run the executable for the game, just type "--gamelog=gamelog.txt" afterwards (e.g /usr/games/coe3_x86 --gamelog=gamelog.txt".
2. The gamelog should show up in the directory in which you ran the command.
