Baron
I've officially started this one. Just won with Baron against two enchanters and a Priest King. The enchanters I took out fairly early by capturing their one keep. I think it was agricultural. Game version 3.18.
The Priest King was taken out by killing all of their commanders. They had some tough armies and I was using a mounted element to try and flank them, hopefully finding and taking their keep. Their last commander brought an army very deep into my territory and I had to do something about it and ended up winning rather unintentionally - I thought they had more armies.
For this challenge, I'm thinking it might be best for each of us to have our own thread - I would like to post an update each time I get closer.

Necromancer
I died alot. Mostly my own over-expansion. I need to take time to consolidate and build up a defense from time to time. Also, scoring ghouls as a summons earlier can make a big difference.
Back to Baron.

OK, made it through Baron and Necromancer, no losses yet. I don't think I've played Demonologist yet, so I'm going to take a break from Gauntlet and maybe do Seven Levels of Hell to learn the class. Both version 3.18 and I think both were Empire society. They both had a happy city in the middle (as opposed to the undead city in fallen empire).
